Gamma Holding expects a net profit of some EUR 30 million in 2001

A further deterioration of the general economic situation in the second half of 2001 has also impacted Gamma Holding's business operations. In particular, those in the United States were affected by the economic downturn. In addition, the Automotive segment had to contend with extra pressure from the automotive industry.

In the light of these developments, we are revising the outlook expressed in our Half-year Report. Gamma Holding expects to achieve a net profit of some EUR 30 million in 2001 (last year EUR 18 million, after an extraordinary expense of EUR 30 million after taxation).

Gamma Holding will announce its figures for the year 2001 on 15 March 2002.
