Gamma Holding completes sale of interior decoration products sector
With the sale of its subsidiaries Dawes and E & S Home of Color, Gamma Holding has completed the divestment of the Interior-Decoration Products sector. Both companies are being sold to their respective management.
Some 160 people work at E & S Home of Color, based in Enschede (The Netherlands) and active in the field of wall coverings. Turnover amounts to approximately EUR 21 million. Dawes, a UK-based supplier of woven fabrics, employs some 16 people. Turnover amounts to approximately EUR 7 million.
The provision already taken in the year 2000 is sufficient for the completion of this process.
Now that the sale of the Interior-Decoration Products sector has been completed, Gamma Holding is concentrating all its efforts on three sectors: Gamma Technologies, Gamma Industrial Textiles and Gamma Exotic Fabrics. The Gamma Technologies sector was recently expanded with the acquisition of the Madison Filter Group. This acquisition is in line with Gamma Holding's strategy of strengthening and expanding its activities in the field of technical textiles.
